Straight from the heart of the Ukrainian techno scene, Daria Kolosova has been tearing up dancefloors for over a decade with her diverse and hard-hitting sets. We’re happy to announce she will be playing Control on March 1 this year.
Behind the decks, Daria delivers more than just a selection of tracks; they're a narrative told through music. She uses music as a tool for empathy and connection, blending hard beats with elements of breakbeat, electro, hardcore, and jungle to create a unique and ever-changing experience. Her style spans across multiple genres making her performances exciting and unexpected. Her aim isn't to just provide a good time, but to inspire and surprise.
Daria’s journey kickstarted in Kyiv's booming electronic scene in her teens. She honed her craft as a resident DJ at Keller, alongside launching the party series Materia UA. Later ditching her Dar:k alias, she began performing under her own name and quickly became a mainstay at Kyiv's top underground clubs, like K41, Closer, and Otel. Her talents soon gained international recognition, leading to high-profile bookings across Europe and beyond. Currently based in Berlin, she's a frequent flyer at some of the world's top electronic music institutions, including Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, Fold, and Junction 2 Festival. This summer, she took her sound to Ibiza for the first time, playing big-name clubs like Amnesia, HÏ, and DC10.
