MINDTHEGAP Trio LIVE

MINDTHEGAP Trio, the new jazz surprise from Transylvania, comes for the first time in Timisoara on 28th of March! Meet them starting in the beautiful venue if Cinema Victoria and immerse in a unique journey through the cosmic sounds of experimental jazz, combined with electronic music, nu jazz, fusion and progressive, all poured into the soundscape of their first album, DISTANT SIGNALS.

“Our debut album was about creating worlds within soundscapes. Each track has its own character, yet they are all linked together by a shared red thread. Recording it live was very important to us because this experience preserved that raw, unfiltered energy; it’s the music as it’s meant to be felt—imperfect, dynamic, and alive. The inspiration came from many places within different occasions, mostly during my travels around the world”, says Stefan Ormenisan, the founder and leader of MINDTHEGAP Trio .

The evening will start with a the projection of the short documentary created by Tamás BODÓ during the recording process, followed by the live experience.
